Banana Split Cake
Banana Split Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 14 minutes. Made with c. graham cracker crumbs, bananas, eggs, large container cool whip and small bag pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Melt 1 stick margarine; mix with graham cracker crumbs and spread mixture in bottom of an oblong 9 x 13-inch pan for crust. Slice bananas over crust.
Whip 2 sticks margarine, confectioners sugar and eggs for 15 minutes.
This makes sauce.
Pour over bananas.
Drain the pineapple and spread over sauce.
Spread Cool Whip over pineapple.
Sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
