Beat all ingredients together (except apples)
Place 1/2 of the batter into a greased tube pan
Arrange enough sliced apples to cover
Sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon to cover
Repeat same process for second layer ending with sugar & cinnamon
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 hours to 2 hours. (Make sure a toothpick or small knitting needle inserted into cake is clean when removed.) Remove from pan when lukewarm.
